A Word on Newborns....

We want all our clients to have a relaxing, enjoyable experience here at our purpose built studio. The underfloor heating keeps the studio area really warm for little ones, and the comfortable seating area is a great place for parents to relax and watch the proceedings. I work with my assistant to ensure that you and the baby are well looked after. She is also an excellent baker and her homebakes with a tea or coffee are always well received.

If older silbilings are attending then once we have finished photographing them they can be supervised in the adjoining cottage where there is a lounge area with television, some toys and refreshments. We encourage all clients to make themselves at home.

If you would like your newborn to have that "curled" look in his/her photos, please understand that babies are best photographed during the first two weeks after birth. During this time, they "curl" and have that special freshly born look that won't be there for long. They are also sleepier at this time and their skin is often clearer. If this is the look you want your newborn to have, please contact me once you know your due date to avoid disappointment as I only have a limited number of spaces available.

Your session will last around three hours to allow plenty time for feeding and soothing your newborn. I want you to feel at ease and not rushed so that I can capture natural images of your family. About 2 weeks after your session, you will be able to view your images in your own personal on-line password-protected gallery. Depending upon what type of products you order, delivery then takes between 2 to 4 weeks.

Clothing Choices...

Clothing choice is a very important part of creating beautiful timeless portraits. If you would like to keep with a classic timeless look then avoid logos, stripes, or other distracting patterns or color combinations. Bare feet are always preferred in the studio.
